xx The Character Grounds Basic Rules xx
1. Please do not attack other users. This includes harassing, bullying, insulting, and teasing. Even if it's meant as a joke,
it's not allowed. Even if you know that a post is meant to be sarcastic or joking does not mean that the other person does.
2. Any topics that include profanity, personal attacks, bullying, slurs (racial, religious, ethnic, etc.), or flaming will be deleted.
3. Do not spam. This includes posting to increase your rank, posting non-related things in topic-specific threads, and posting non-related
topics in specific boards. These will be deleted/removed from said topic, or moved to the correct board. If you spam a topic, the owner has
every right to report you.
4. Do not abuse the "Report" button. Only use it if another member is breaking rules. Abuse of this button may result in suspension.
5. Do not give out personal info! We ask you not to share your full (first and last) name, phone number, address, etc. You are allowed to share
this via PM if you wish, but do this at your own risk. Please don't post your full name directly onto the forums. Any sharing of personal info
through PM is at your own risk.
6. Strong language is not to be tolerated. This includes f-bombs, profanities, slurs, and anything considerably offensive. Not sure if it's
offensive/allowed? Send a PM to a staff member and ask.
7. Posting personal pictures is allowed, but highly discouraged, as this is a public forum. Anyone can view this forum without logging in,
and this can give random people access to what you look like. You post these pictures at your own risk.
8. Do not post on topics that are 1 month without a post. This can count towards spam.
9. You cannot force someone to leave your thread. You may politely ask them to leave, but staff are the only ones allowed to ban users from threads.
10. We ask for one account per user, please. This helps to keep the forums from getting clogged up.
xx Content Posting Rules xx
1. Keep everything posted PG-13 and lower. Limit gore and violence, please!
2. All images posted must either belong to you or be a stock image. If the artwork belongs to someone, you may only post it with the proper credit
for the original artist. Do not post images with watermarks on them. If you claim an image is yours and it found to belong to someone else, your post
will be deleted. Images PG-13 below and only are allowed. No excessive gore/blood, nudity, etc.
3. Roleplays can have their own sets of rules, but they must not break regular forum rules. Roleplays asking for non-LGBT+ characters are allowed, as
long as LGBT+ users are still allowed to join.
4. Discussion of orientation, religion, politics, etc. is allowed, but must be non-discriminating and friendly. For example, you can make a thread for
Christians, but you cannot say that anyone not a Christian is not allowed. If threads end up as flame wars, they will be removed.
5. If you wish to discuss book series, tv shows, movies, etc. that have recently come out, please put SPOILERS in the title. For example: if you want to
discuss the latest episode of "Supergirl", you must put SPOILERS in the title so others will be warned ahead of time.
6. If you wish to start a small group/1x1 RP, we highly recommend using PMs. If you post a thread, there is no guarantee that you will not have other users
posting on your topic. Please be polite if you wish for someone to leave... however, as the 9th basic rule stated, you cannot force them off the thread.
